Information Visualization and Design - In this class we learned Adobe Illustrator and Flash (ActionScript 3.0). Here is some of my work from this class (Click to view larger). The first work here is the final project. It included finding an inspirational source for the design (link at bottom of picture) and some data for a country in the Olympics and representing that data in a visually appealing way.

A fairly simple pie graph done in Illustrator.
Again, we had an inspiration for this design. Comparing gas prices in different states to different types of liquids. It was a fun project to work on and see just how much we pay for things.
This next one was part of our Mid-Term. We had to compare gas prices using an illustration from someone else about Germany as our inspiration (thus the German Colors).
This one is a little small to read, but was meant for a bigger print out. |
This was a simple mapping exercise, drawing a map in Illustrator over a Google map.
